April Moon Productions is headed by Producer/Writer/Director David Asmussen and his wife, Creative Consultant Sylvia Asmussen.

The production company considers many genres of films, including romantic comedies, action, and adventure, but we primarily focus on dramatic story lines of hope, forgiveness and reconciliation that tackle tough issues like death, abandonment, jealousy, and dependency.  Whatever the genre, any film we produce must have a story line that emphasizes family values, and we always welcome stories with faith based themes.

Although we embrace the rawness and vulnerability of the human emotion, we  will not produce projects with on-screen sex, nudity or extreme vulgarity.
